KTM X-Bow

Available: Europe, United Arab Emirates

Price: €45,000 ($62,789)

Made of carbon fiber with an Audi engine, the extremely light X-Bow accelerates with the power of a motorcycle—not surprising when you consider that it was the first car made by Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM. Just 350 vehicles were sold in 2008, the first year of production, and another 600 rolled out of the plant last year. You could import one to the U.S. if you agree to drive it only on a track.
