Lindsay Lohan’s much-hyped performance as Elizabeth Taylor in this Lifetime telepic drew a modest 3.5 million viewers on Nov. 25 (compared to, for example, 4.1 million viewers for the network's less-publicized Abducted: The Carlina White Story). Liz and Dick has become the fourth-most-watched original movie premiere on cable this year. Still, it joins a pack of star-studded biographical films that fell short of expectations on TV and the silver screen.
