Thompson's PCA IP1100 TV set-top box delivers hundreds of channels, digital audio, Web browsing, gaming, and e-mail directly to a TV via a broadband line. Still in development, the box will deliver high-definition TV content. Some versions, expected to be sold through phone companies, will also feature a built-in personal video recorder (PVR).
