Apple's digital music players have spawned an array of products that enhance them. Take a look at some highlights of "the iPod economy"

With a 63.5% market share, Apple's (AAPL) iPod dominates the digital music player market. And business is expected to keep booming, with more than 10 million of these devices already sold and a 525% year-on-year increase in iPod revenue last quarter.

So it should come as no surprise that literally thousands of products have sprouted up in the past few years to support this growing habit in the U.S. Apple is loving all of the third-party options for its iPod, iPod Mini, and iPod Shuffle -- these innovations have been called "the iPod economy."
