Spring Roll - Fetch toy for dogs

Credit: Design Edge

Client: WETNoZ International

These injection molded natural rubber dog toys were designed to be enjoyed by both pets and humans. By varying the wall thicknesses, the toys produce an erratic bounce and roll and treats can be placed in a stuffable, hollow core. The toy’s thick inner core allows the dog to carry it in a more natural position. The design process also focused on captivating the attention of the customer at the point of purchase: the packing was minimized to a simple wrap that highlights the design. These toys were WETNoZ International’s first foray into the dog toy market. The response to date has resulted in plans for an additional line of toys to launch in late 2005.
