”I started doing offshore fishing in Florida, and quickly found that live bait attracts
predatory fish much better than artificial lures. I thought, I wish there were a way to make artificial lures more dynamic. Electrical energy is the trigger that allows you to move muscles. It’s the same with fish, and predatory fish can sense this electrical energy coming from other fish. The amplitude of the charge tells them if the other fish is much smaller, and the frequency helps them find the fish. I figured out what stimuli predatory fish were after, and provided it using electronic components.”
