Timeless Design
In the early 1970s, digital watches began to replace analog time pieces. That's when Caruso spearheaded Motorola's entry into the LCD watch module business. The company's initial prototype, however, was large and bulky and looked like an alarm clock strapped on the wrist. Caruso reduced the size and came up with a sleek design. It was so successful that Motorola sold 3 million units its first year out.
