Styling Satire
Pentagram earned the job of revamping the set because of Sher's earlier work with Stewart on America: A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction, a parody of a high-school civics text. In designing the book, Sher faced the same challenge that Biber had with the set redesign: How to create a visual parody that's much better designed than its target.
