Bob Dylan Poster

1966

Inspired by Islamic painting and by a silhouette cutout done by Marcel Duchamps, Glaser produced this design originally as a poster insert for CBS Records. The image of singer Bob Dylan in shadow profile with a shock of kaleidoscope hair, simply yet dramatically symbolized the times, specifically Dylan's countercultural message. The poster is now considered a collectors' item.
