Household Fuel Cell Cogeneration System

CREDIT: Panasonic Design Company (Japan)

CLIENT: Panasonic (Japan)

This household fuel cell cogeneration system simultaneously generates electricity and hot water from city-supplied gas. As concerns over diminishing fuel resources and global warming rise, this system offers a solution to the need for abundant, clean power generated in an environmentally sensitive manner. It is also a solution consumers can participate in. Controlled by a remote with a user-friendly interface that provides voice prompts, homeowners can easily program the device. Its sleek, streamlined styling also differentiates it from typical outdoor utility appliances. The basic shell structure increases the material's strength while reducing bulk, thereby saving resources and manufacturing costs.
