After spending 24 years working in management roles in a number of Asian and American businesses, Korean-born Jinsoo Terry decided in 2004 to start a company of her own that would address the cultural gaps that she had witnessed firsthand in the multicultural marketplace.
Terry's Advanced Global Connections offers consulting services to foreign Fortune 500 companies that are looking to improve their ability to tap U.S. markets, as well as to American businesses seeking to improve their effectiveness in China, Japan, and Korea. With a series of English-as-a-second-language books, multimedia courses aimed at immigrants, and expanded motivational speaking engagements, Terry plans to hit $1 million in revenues by 2008.
