Tanzania: HIV/AIDS

Global Service Corps offers two trips to Tanzania, one of the African nations being devastated by AIDS. Approximately 8% of Tanzania's population is infected. Each summer, volunteers on Global Service Corps' Tanzania HIV/AIDS trip help lead the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Life Skills Day Camp. Participants work with Tanzanian secondary school students to spread awareness of prevention techniques.
