The New Smooth Ride
iPod Car Stereo
Available in most 2007 Ford, GM, and Mazda vehicles. Standard on some models; an extra charge of $150 to $200 on others.
Longing for the sounds of your iPod in your car? Apple’s deal on Aug. 3 with GM, Ford, and Mazda means that 70% of 2007-model cars in the U.S. will have an easy iPod to car stereo connection. The iPod will be stored and connected to the stereo through the glove compartment, while songs can be flipped through using the car’s stereo controls. And an added bonus: the iPod gets charged when the ignition is on.
