Ronn Scorpion

Ronn Scorpion

The Austin (Tex.) Ronn Motor Company will unveil this Scorpion concept at the Specialty Equipment Market Assn. show in Las Vegas in November. The company refers to its sultry-looking roadster as "eco exotic" because the car is equipped with Ronn's H2GO hydrogen system, which blends hydrogen gas with regular fuel to improve efficiency and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks to its innovative engine, the Scorpion's 450 horsepower V6 still achieves 40 miles per gallon. The vehicle's body, wrapped in dramatic curves, is nothing short of voluptuous. Despite the dire state of the auto market, the company plans to bring a $150,000 production version to market in early 2009.

The Verdict: Exotic looks and performance with a lot less guilt on your part.
