The seven-passenger Orlando Concept multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) will make its industry debut at the Paris Motor Show this October. In a sign that a production version could be in the works, the Orlando is based on the compact Delta II platform, which also underpins the upcoming Chevy Cruze sedan and the much-vaunted Volt electric car. Mixing design themes from SUVs and minivans, the Orlando sports Chevrolet's signature snout tacked onto a more van-like body. Inside, the concept features a family-friendly three rows of seating. Meanwhile, the Orlando is powered by a 2-liter turbo diesel engine, which produces 150 horsepower.
The Verdict: A minivan for the 21st century.
