Taiwan High Speed Rail 700T Train

Japan is already well known for the success and efficiency of its “Bullet” train, and now Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Nippon Sharyo, and Hitachi have exported a fleet of 700 carriages to Taiwan. This was no mere plug-and-play export process. The infrastructure of the trains had to be altered to suit Taiwan's entirely different electrical and mechanical systems. The interiors, meanwhile, were redesigned to better suit the Taiwanese commuter psyche.
