The Wonderland Box, which is slated to appear on home shopping channel QVC next year, is a holiday display that folds up into a portable wooden chest. It can hold a fully decorated holiday scene, or it can be sold empty for customers to fill with their own decorations. So far, only 1,000 have been sold, but IP&R is estimating it will sell around 30,000 next year.
Biggest stumbling block: Developing effective packaging so that consumers quickly understand what it is and how it works.
