Apart from an increase in customers signing up for the service, Glass says what benefited his business most since being nominated was a sense of increased legitimacy during negotiations with restaurant chains.
"We want to be the premier brand for all mobile commerce, not just limited to food," says Glass. He says such an ambitious goal will keep him busy, but admits that he does have plans to eventually return to the non-profit field and start a new organization. Specifically, he's interested in raising political awareness using mobile technology drawing on ideas already in the works in foreign countries.
