Vonage IPO
Shares of this profitless broadband phone company are off 60% since they made their initial public offering in May. Disappointing investors is one thing, but when many are also your customers it's a full-blown nightmare. Vonage persuaded many of its users to reserve shares in the IPO — one of the more predictable stinkers of the year — and then had to chase them down for the cash after the IPO tanked.
