The voluptuous, futuristic, and industrial-chic lines of this elegant stainless-steel desk look positively 2006, although its design is 40 years old. Designer Max Ingrand (1908-1969) created furniture and home accessories that were forward-thinking for his time but today evoke a sense of timelessness in terms of classic 20th century design.
