Lockheed Lounge, 1986

This sinuous metallic chaise broke auction records when it fetched $968,000 at Sotheby's in June, 2006. Previously, it brought $105,000 at Christie's in 2000. The iconic Lockheed Lounge was featured in a Madonna video (as seen here).
