021C Concept Car for Ford, 1999

Ford hired Newson to create a “fun” car that would appeal to very young (21 and under) adults and teens. Newson based the design on a toylike form with rounded edges and added playful details such as a trunk that functions like a sliding drawer and bright-neon-and-white color schemes.
