Taj Lake Palace

In the middle of Lake Pichola in the city of Udaipur, Taj Lake Palace is an architectural gem of white marble and mosaics. This palace was built in 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II, 62nd, a successor to the royal dynasty of Mewar. Udaipur is famous in India as the city of lakes. There are “champagne walks” around the palace grounds, a Taj Spa, and an outdoor swimming pool for guests.
