Affordable Green Upgrades for the Home
Rosenzweig says consumers are hungry for innovations that help them live "greener," or with less impact on the environment, on a personal or household basis. When spotting opportunities, he says the key to reaching a broad market is making green products easy to adopt.
"We've had a whole era of affordable upgrades, where people have bought more sophisticated consumer electronics, food, and apparel," says Rosenzweig. One of his affordable green upgrade ideas: a movement-sensing light for a kitchen or bedroom that saves energy by switching off when it doesn't detect movement.
