British billionaire Richard Branson is a constant font of ideas, from his first major business, Virgin Records, which he launched at the age of 23, to more recent endeavors, such as low-cost broadband supplier Virgin.net and a space-travel outfit called Virgin Galactic. On Feb. 1, Branson kicked off his latest scheme, Virgin Health Bank, a repository for umbilical cord stem cells that can be used in future medical treatments.
