This three-day blizzard from March 12-14 was dubbed the “Storm of the Century” for its fierce gales, deep snow and widespread impact. For example, every major airport along the East Coast was closed at one point because of the storm and record lows and wind gusts were recorded all the way from Florida to Maine.
