Surrounded by nature, the city known as "Green Bursa" offers visitors the mausoleums of the Ottoman Sultans as well as ancient thermal baths. Two hours from Istanbul, Bursa is also home to many foreign companies and their employees. The modern town of Nilufer and the villa-lined neighbourhood of Bademli are the hottest addresses for investment. Real estate agents say foreigners prefer Bademli because it offers international schools and a wealth of social activities for non-Turks. Approximately 30 minutes from Bursa's city center is one of Turkey’s most popular ski resorts, Uludag.
