Uncovering Bombs
U.S. forces in Iraq found that insurgents often hide roadside bombs under piles of debris. The Rapid Equipping Force devised a way to strap Buffalo Turbine's Cyclone, an industrial leaf blower, to the front of a truck in order to blow debris out of the way, making bombs easier to spot.
