The band the Postal Service famously took its name from their way their songs were made—as a long-distance collaboration, shipped back and forth via snail mail. Indaba Music is set up to foster similar musical collaborations, Web 2.0 style. Musicians can start online sessions with open calls—for, say, a drummer—then edit and mix using Indaba's suite of Web-based editing tools.
