Then:
Isaacman started United Bank Card in 1999 with $10,000. By last year the company made more than $50 million in revenue by processing some $5.5 billion in credit-card transactions for small and midsize businesses.

This year United Bank Card is handling about 30% more businesses and expects to take in revenues in excess of $60 million. Isaacman says reducing the cost of United Bank Card's point-of-sale system—the computer terminals used by restaurants and shops to handle credit-card transactions, as well as tasks including payroll and inventory—has helped the company stand apart from a crowded field of about 1,500 similar companies in the U.S.
The entrepreneur spends his time away from the office running a small private jet chartering operation and says past clients have included prominent figures including Senator Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and several members of the New York Yankees.
