Then:
After four years in business, health-food vending machine company Fit Fuel had revenues of around $3.5 million, 10 employees, and a retail Web site that accounted for about 40% of its business. Founders Kelly and Burgis had learned so much about the health-food market that they decided the next step would be to develop their own product line.

This year, Fit Fuel launched several of its own branded snacks—the most recent was a formula dubbed The Liverator. Revenues are expected to increase to around $5 million by yearend, and Kelly says 10% to 20% of that is due to the new product line. A major overhaul of the company's Web site is under way.
