Only top-level executives who work in or close to the wireless industry need apply to INmobile.org, a site started last year by Matthew Corbett and Mark Newhall, founders of Harvard (Mass.) executive search firm Idealwave. To gain access you have to be at least a director at a large company, a vice-president at a midsize company, or in the C-suite of a startup. So far, members include executives from Verizon (VZ), Walt Disney (DIS), and Nokia (NOK). Arthur Goikhman and Stephen Dacek, co-founders of mobile-games startup Cellufun, joined the site in February and have since tapped their new connections to score a deal to become a content publisher on Yahoo!'s (YHOO) mobile network. "I'm glad it's not a free-for-all," says Dacek. "It really does make it a lot easier to network." The site is free, or members can pay $2,000 to advertise in the "marketplace" section.
