Here's the map as it looks today. It clearly shows both more work being done on the relevant compounds—more researchers and larger circles—and more interconnected, interdisciplinary work, shown by the number of lines connecting each node. (Popko has since moved to the University of Chicago, and so is now associated with that institution on the map.)
MRF Chief Operating Officer Rusty Bromley says his organization uses the network mapper every six months as part of a broader strategic review. It serves as a benchmark to measure MRF's progress in promoting collaborative research.
