Accuray develops and markets the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System, a robot that kills cancer painlessly and noninvasively using beams of radiation. Guided by X-ray images, the machine maneuvers around the patient to deliver treatment from various angles. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis at more than 100 medical centers around the world, and can be used to treat tumors in the brain, spine, lung, liver, pancreas, and prostate.
