We Are Georgetown

A well-rounded education and access to top-notch employers are Hoya promises

With 1,271 full-time undergraduate business students, the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University offers plenty of diversity. The university's location at the center of the trendy Georgetown neighborhood is like a playground for students; downtime is filled with everything from enjoying a paddleboat ride in nearby Tidal Basin when the cherry blossoms are in bloom, to devouring cheese quesadillas at Alamo Grill or sticky ribs at Old Glory. Business students with an interest in government often aim for internships on Capitol Hill or at the White House, both located nearby.

Before you start planning on becoming the next U.S. President with a flair for business, though, you must first get accepted to Georgetown. And getting in is no easy task—the school accepted only 22% of the 15,285 applicants to the undergraduate program in 2005. Those students had a median SAT score of 1370, so start studying as soon as you can!
