Less a product than a very cool use of technology that consumers will love, U2 3D is a movie coming to an IMAX and digital movie theater near you. The IMAX version, screened in Las Vegas, is a stunning concert film that rates with some of the best in the genre—such as Stop Making Sense and The Last Waltz. But this film, produced by 3ality Digital, is shot in 3D digital technology, creating mind-blowing clarity. There are moments when Bono sings staring straight into the camera that it seems he's close enough to touch.
