IceMobile, a Dutch mobile entertainment company that already works with some 40 mobile operators worldwide, has just introduced a new service called LiveCastr that allows mobile subscribers to broadcast live video directly from their phones to the Web with the push of a button. The live video can be viewed on the LiveCastr Web site or on a LiveCastr player that mobile-phone users can install onto their profile pages in their favorite online social networks. The LiveCastr service works on all 300 3G video-call mobile phones currently on the market, without the need to download and install software onto the phone itself.
