Have Cell, BeWell

BeWell Mobile Technology's software lets doctors keep tabs on patients with chronic illnesses, such as asthma or diabetes. Now in trials with health-care systems including Kaiser Permanente, the software lets patients enter such information as blood sugar and receive up-to-date advice on how to manage it. BeWell's system would also alert health-care providers in the event of an emergency, such as a dangerously high glucose level.
