In his new how-to book, Executive Warfare, former John Hancock Chief Executive Officer and Chairman David D'Alessandro lights the path to CEO-dom with 10 rules of combat. The book, which hits stores July 8, begins with a warning to the reader: If you're satisfied with your middle-management position, don't even bother buying the book.
