Microsoft researcher Andy Wilson shows a group of high school students his new LaserTouch project at a conference in Mountain View, Calif., in May. "It's a little bit of a hack," he says of the hi-res screen, mounted like a drafting table, that uses wall-mounted lasers and overhead cameras to capture gestures made on the screen. Wilson envisions similar systems that could be installed in conference rooms.
