In September 2007, the wireless giant AT&T (T) updated its brand identity after its merger with cellular brand Cingular. The past year has certainly seen consumers flocking to AT&T stores—but that's possibly not because of either the new logo or the merger. That the company is the exclusive U.S. carrier for Apple's (AAPL) iPhone has boosted its overall earnings.
