Some of the biggest names in the business are on mydeco's design board. Philippe Starck, the Frenchman known for his hotels and restaurant interiors, furniture, and household objects, is a board member and a shareholder. So is Terence Conran, founder of the Habitat and Conran home furnishing stores and owner of restaurants and shops in Europe, the U.S., and Japan. Other board members include interior designer Kelly Hoppen and Tara Bernerd, a furniture collection designer and founder of design consultancy Target Living. The board is helping mydeco tweak the site's look and feel.
