The company aims to be the first space tourist outfit. In 2005, Branson began booking advance $200,000 tickets for its inaugural suborbital space flights planned for 2009. As of November 2007, Galactic had reportedly sold 200 seats on the flights, which will hold six passengers and last just over two hours.
