This Old, Great, Nice, Stunning, Fenced House

What are the most popular adjectives for describing homes for sale in today’s tough real estate market? According to online search engine Roost.com, which surveyed property listings around the country, the top 20 include “great” (especially prevalent in Miami), “large” (a Dallas favorite), and “new” (No. 1, thanks to lots of use in Boston, Chicago, and other sizable cities). “Nice” is used almost exclusively for houses listed at $250,000 or less. “Fenced” is popular in that price bracket, too, especially in Washington, D.C. And in Chicago and San Francisco, houses with an asking price of more than $2 million are frequently “stunning.”
