These floating pliers are geared towards the professional and recreational fishing markets. They are lightweight yet rugged enough to perform in a tough marine environment. They feature a lightweight composite plastic body; a tungsten carbide blade and anvil system capable of cutting through braided and mono line; injection molded stainless steel teeth for gripping and removing hooks, and elongated, ergonomic, foam-encased handles that float and are comfortable to use. The corrosion-resistant pliers are highly visible and easily retrievable if dropped overboard, making them ecologically superior to metal pliers that litter the bottom of waterways.
