When The Dark Knight earned more than $170 million in its opening days, everyone, it seemed, was doing a victory dance. Everyone, that is, but Katie Holmes. Mrs. Tom Cruise, who played the role of Batman's main squeeze Rachel Dawes in 2005's Batman Begins, turned down offers to return for the sequel. Big mistake.
