Nissan Titan

Average trade-in value (2006 model), July 21: $13,113
Fall-off since Q1: -$3,950
Percent change: -23.5%

The Nissan Titan was never a contender in the full-size pickup segment, which is dominated by domestics. With that segment dropping, the Titan is more marginal than ever. Nissan North America had an astronomical 489-day supply of Titans on July 1, according to Automotive News. That's how long it would take to sell the current inventory at the present sales rate. In April, Nissan announced Chrysler will build the Titan after 2010. In return, Nissan will build a small car for Chrysler. Meanwhile, Nissan cut from two shifts to one, building the Titan at Nissan's plant in Mississippi.
