A Quick Shower

The introduction of onboard showering allows Emirates to boast a first in commercial air travel—what it calls the "jewel in the aircraft's crown." Still, don't expect to get too risqué with your significant other: The showers have a "spa attendant" to monitor the comings and goings of Emirates' pampered guests. Each shower is limited to five minutes so that everyone in first class has the same amount of water. Emirates' President Tim Clark told reporters he needed only two minutes for his shower on the maiden flight to New York.
