Filed Chapter 11 in April 2008
Fallout: Denver-based Vicorp Restaurants closed 56 locations of its Bakers Square and Village Inn chains after filing for bankruptcy in April. The company is attempting to restructure and continues to operate 343 restaurants, 93 of which are franchises.
