Fallout: Ground Round closed its corporate operations overnight before filing for Chapter 11 reorganization. Many of the remaining 72 franchise owners organized a cooperative to bid for the trademark, which they won for $4.85 million. The franchisees still own the system cooperatively, with 46 restaurants remaining.
